Caught a 5th in my have a heart yesterday.. that trap was the smaller one I don't know the number, and had really old bait in it that I think was even rained on. Think it just went in the trap because it was there.
Knocking in wood as I write this, but since catching all these rodents this past week I've not heard scratching thumping or gnawing in my attic. Could be to my lobbing a dozen or so cotton balls soaked in fox pee in the corner of the attic where they were coming in.
Really hoping that the problem is solved. If I hear any more in the attic that is where the conibear will go (on the inside of the entrance hole). I'll take chances with it chewing it's lower abdomen off. Then again, I hope I don't need to set those traps out.
