Well, we are in for some nice weather, but just like us, the squirrels don't have to go out EVERY day...

On top of that you MUSThave patience.

My suggestion would be to put one trap outside, disabled and (SOMETIMES) baited. Bait it every other day or something. Keep it disabled.

The one inside, keep it disabled, CLOSED and unbaited. Leave a SMALL amount of chum (almost microscopic) you just want "interest" - watch it closely.

Once they take the chum, re-enable the trap with NO BAIT.

Use trickery! You want to MAKE them want to go in. You have to make those traps part of the landscape.

Give it a few days, a week or so, and report back!
