I thought Mr squirrel was nabbing my bait. I put it back on the trigger. When I came back a chipmunk was in the trap. I released him on good behavior. I have been trapping on the ground, this was the first wrong catch. I spotted a possum eating the crumbs one night, after that I never leave the trap baited after dark. Do you think chipmunks are going to make me have to find a new spot for my trap? I could place it on a crate or something so the chipmunks would not climb to get it.
