After hearing noises in between floors and reading your trapping page. I went and purchased a 1030 have a heart trap as they didn't have the 1040. Caught 3 baby's in three days using the one door method. On the fourth day found the trap locked up tight no squirrel. Ok, now I figure I'm after mom the cage is to small and she's doing the tail trick. Back to the co-op and ordered the 1040. In the meantime I wired the door open on the 1030 and kept it baited for 5 days till the 1040 came in. Using the one door method again with the 1040 now. She is eating the pb right off the bread and isn't stepping on the plate. I'm really ready for a suggestion other than 5gals of gas and a match.
