Glad you liked it, John. Squirrel is indeed tasty. For many people down south it was a breakfast staple.

One of squirrels main food sources is acorns. Spanish ham, Jamón ibérico de bellota, ham from pigs fed a diet of acorns, is considered a delicacy. It goes for upwards of $50 a pound.

So acorn fed squirrel is likely to taste similar and you get them for free, plus you protect protect your domicile from them.
