Thanks John. Appreciate your recommendations. I think I can handle the height from a tall ladder. I was more concerned about properly sealing the entire area along all the gutters. My fear is actually getting up on the roof to inspect all the seams to ensure there are no entry points. The pitch on my roof is REALLY steep. Taking a fall at that height could ruin my whole day! I will call a few local roofers and get an estimate.

BTW, I ended up catching 18 squirrels within 6 to 7 weeks. And I just saw a squirrel in my backyard this evening :(
I will set up a few traps to nab him.
