I saw her leave 15 minutes ago and was about to go bury it. In the past, I have forgotten if I nailed one 50 feet away on the deck and it's gone by morning. I have reached the point, having closed openings with a towel only to find that left alone and another spot 4 times in six months, to protecting my attic if they come near. And I have some racoons and a cat, from where I don't know, that actually thinks he can out run a squirrel but he gets the mice. So a meal it is. Although if 2 days old is too old for that and should be buried I'll take your advice either way.
I'll toss him in the woods at dusk. I was just concerned it could end up on her property and she could call someone. The wooded area on my property has a high water table and the map shows it can't be built on. So I have no idea if burying is "adding toxins to the water supply" in some code if she reported me. That's why I don't want this "colorful" woman knowing. And "Bless her Heart", as I'm sure you know what I mean...LOL
Thanks,
Mike
