I know what you mean Mike. "Poor ol' thing" usually precedes "bless her heart" in our neck of the woods.

The only toxin that might pollute the water table is the lead slug in the victimís remains. And what will the poor olí thing, bless her heart, do if she finds the decedent? Have it autopsied and get the FBI to perform a ballistics test on the slug? I feel certain no one would consider killing a squirrel the crime of the century, except perhaps your neighbor.
