Frankly, I doubt that the bloodstain would make any difference at all. Matter of fact, you might even call it an "attractant."
Squirrels are opportunistic omnivores, so they're not averse to taking birds' eggs or even baby birds. So I doubt the "smell" of blood would incite fear or other instinct and affect your trapping procedures in the slightest.
However, if the stain affects your own sensibilities, you might wash it with soap and water, then you could apply a 1-1 ratio of bleach and water, letting it dry. You could then seal it off with paint or varnish.
Should Mr. Cameron have any squirrel problem, I'm sure he could make a good Alien/Terminator-type movie out of it.
But with his kind of money, (currently even more than our current Republican presidential candidate) he would need access to a capable expert. I service rich men myself, and they also have their own animal problems, be it squirrels or a dog on the car roof.
