a friend had same problem, contractor made opening near attic nest so that they could see daylight. Across the street neighbors could see the area and over time determined there was 4 critters and saw all 4 leave. Then the owner placed a temporary barrier, provided by the contractor, in place. Called contractor for perminent repair......all is good.
