Yes I read your pages, which is why I moved it from the garage rafters near where they were going in/out to the line of travel just outside on the garage roof near the gutters.

Sounds like I might need to disguise the trap or build a tunnel in/out of his line of travel, let her get used to it, then put the trap in the tunnel.

But I do wonder if she knows it's bad. The first one was caught in the garage rafters and stayed there for 1/2-day b/c my wife had no desire to touch the trap and I was at work. So that first one was banging around in the cage for several hours before I got home. I'm sure the female saw that, and noticed that he young one disappeared shortly after.
