Ok, sounds like a plan... The babies won't be as wary as the adults, so if that works, go get 'em!

Get that trap fixed, if you can. Traps are still the best, in the long run. You can use a bent nail to keep ot on the roof. When you're done, drive the nail into the roof and cover it with caulk.
