I take them for really long rides. I combine the relocation trip with a fishing or kayaking trip that I'm taking. Once it was 60 miles one way. The last relocation was 38 miles one way to the beach. The squirrel wouldn't leave the trap! I had to kick the trap and then it ran under my truck, hopped up underneath between the gas tank and spare tire. I had to break out a sand spike to stab it out of there. I try to be humane with the things, but if it crawls in/on to my truck, no more Mr. Nice guy.
