Hi GonnaGitEm,

I have the 1040 and 1084. Lately I've only been using the 1084 and catching one or two a day. Here's how I use it: I fold flat the small box that a bar of soap (Olay) comes in and slide it under the handle so when it's "loaded" it triggers more easily. I spread peanut butter on a 2 inch square of foil and put that along with a tablespoon of black sunflower seeds on a plastic coffee lid behind the trigger plate. Then I cover the trap with leaves and sprinkle sunflower seeds around the entrance and some into the front of the trap.
