Flying squirrels are "social," so there's always more than one - usually several.

Best way to handle it would be to put a one-way over the hole. Call Dave Lundstrom at AES Traps (AEStraps.com) and tell him your problem. He'll be able to help you. Tell him "John from United" sent you. He's a good guy.
