Last year, squirrels started taking oranges off my trees before they were even ripe. I tried distracting them with sunflower seeds. ..while having our Thanksgiving dinner, my son in law pointed out the window in amazement.. we counted 30 squirrels having their thanksgiving feast! Some oin 1 night, them were carrying oranges to the party!
Weve lived here 20 years and have never before had this problem. Whats the best way to get rid of them? Shooting? Trap and release? This years oranges are still green, but theyre starting to take them already. I saved about a dozen oranges from 3 trees and they stripped my kumquat tree I
