Don't use chicken wire, use heavy duty half inch hardware cloth.

As far as trapping is concerned, sometimes it's nor as simple as baiting and setting up the trap. Sometimes you have to use your noggin....

Stop leaving the chum out. Make them hunt. I have caught many a squirrel in UNBAITED traps. Use their innate curiousity to get them.

Go through my squirrel pages, click on all the pictures, many have text instructions and hints. Don't let squirrels outwit you!
