Thanks. I will probably just get some of that cloth and nail it right over where I put the chicken wire. I don't think they are nesting up there but I hear them get inside in the mornings a few times a week. I have also gone to setting some bait right in front of my archery target out back so I suspect I will thin the number of them with my bow. I'll follow up with how I do - I just wanted to get one of the ones that is actually getting into my attic. I think its gray squirrels but it really could be either a gray or red.
