Just wanted to say thanks for the tips. I was able to use a trap in the attic and caught two. I secured all entry points except one where I suspected they were entering. I set the trap near that entry and it worked. I put up packing paper over entry and taped securely in order to see if any more were entering or exiting. After about 4 days of hearing no noise, no chum disturbed and the paper still secure, I blocked the last entry way with steel mesh. No noise in a few days so I think I'm good for now. Thanks a lot.

Yes, I understand now w/dog food I was just encouraging them along w/birds.

FYI best estimate to do this by professional was around $600.
