We have open eaves on the house, which have been the open invitation to flying squirrels and bats for years.

I'm on a mission to close it all in, and make it look nice.

Yesterday I stapled paper (old land engineering plans) over all of the openings where they could be coming & going.

My plan was to find their little highways into the house, and put one-way exits on them.

But this morning, all of the paper is still intact.

I'm assuming paper is no match for either a squirrel or a bat, and that none have come or gone overnight.

How long do I leave the paper up before I can assume they're all gone?

Thanks!
