My real problem is with voles. Making holes in the yard and next to the house. The 'trails' in the grass. The musky odor. Etc. Ive had them before and have pretty good success eliminating them with those covered mouse traps and blue pellet poison. So, I put out a few covered mouse traps and within 1 day the traps are disrupted. By that I mean...either tripped and sitting on their side, or moved 25 ft away, or missing altogether. I found one trap 100 ft away in the back yard all broken and chewed to pieces. Clearly the squirrels are messing with my mouse traps. So, im now trapping and relocating squirrels so that I can get back to the business of eliminating the voles. so far so good. 4 caught and re-located.
