A year ago, I figured if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. So, I put up a few Squirrel toys , a few of them, have corn cobs on. My little buddies are fun to watch,,,but, I couldn't figure out why they keep getting a mouthfull of kernels and burying them. I complained to my lawn guy that I have ALL these broad leave weeds that look like corn. Well,,,looks like Blackie....my favorite black squirrel, is in the crop farm business. I pulled out a few of these corn like weeds and sure enough, it all started with a sprout/kernel of corn. This morning before i cut the lawn, i counted over 50 corn plants growing in my lawn...........
