Well, doing baiting AND soil treatment is, I think, overkill. Frankly, I have never gone for the baiting schemes, they're too slow and too expensive. Besides, this industry has the best chemical since sliced bread - Termidor. I use nothing else and have had zero failures.
So I would always recommend soil treatment with Termidor over all other treatments.
As far as the company is concerned, I think you'll do better to skip the biggies, and their salesmen, and go with a trusted, local independent, one with a physical office within your local calling area.
Remember, when you get estimates, that this vocation is an expertise - which means that all exterminators may have a different way to do things. And just because one says he is doing 'something different,' doesn't necessarily mean that it's better.
So get your estimates, listen closely and don't let anyone scare or hustle you into a decision. You have plenty of time.
Check back with any questions.
