Quite common, especially with non-repellant termiticides. Leave it for a week, then break it open and see if there's still activity. If there is, contact your exterminator with the problem.

I explain this to my customers before I leave the job. It happens often enough so that it deserves an explanation. Keep a log as to what you have done, with the dates, so that you can keep track of the situation. You might even call them and tell them what you are doing also. This will give you an idea of how cooperative they will be.
