I too have experienced termites in my Live Oak Tree. I got my wet vac and sucked out as many as I could, then squirted Spectricide (for Termites and Carpenter Ants) inside the hole, then placed termite bait-spikes around the tree as well as around my home foundation.

I was told there was a "tree foam" which can be used to seal the hole in my oak tree, but I'm going to watch to make sure there are no more termites coming out of the hole.
