Here's the situation - live in a condo on a slab - lots of ants around outside. Previous years, came into my bathroom. This year, have found quite a few in my bedroom.(yuck!) Not the huge black ones, but medium size, alot with wings. All over the room, can't find any water damage. Lots of dead ants too on floor, in closet, by walls. This morning, picked up a bunch of books that had been sitting on the floor, ants with wings swarming all over bottom book (maybe 10-12 of them). Why would they be there? Have set ant bait traps inside, and sprayed ortho-max outside, hasn't cost much. What else do you suggest? Don't want to call exterminator as I still haven't paid them off for red-squirrel trapping!! Thanks for your site - it helps so much to have someone say don't panic!!
