Only when you realize how much damage they can do.... And cockroaches only carry diseases mechanically - such as when they crawl across disease germs and then crawl across your sandwich. They don't vector diseases the way flies, fleas or mosquitoes do. So, technically, cockroaches are much less "dangerous" than flies, fleas or mosquitoes!
