I have an exterminator at my house as I am typing this and he originally talked about drilling the slab. Since he has seen my house he changed his mind to treating the perimeter outside with probing as well as go into the area of the inside wall that the termites have appeared from. He used an existing hole where the "trap" from some plumbing came out of the basement wall and sprayed liberally. He talked about termidor but used what I believe he called "Talstar One". He said he pumped as much as 15 gallons into the ground. He said it should knock the colony out! Hope he's right!
