Yep. They also eat the PVC piping, too.... You need to empty the pool, remove the liner, pre-treat the ground under the liner, add about an inch or two of sterilized sand, then re-install the new liner.

I don't know what the pool alterations will cost, but the cost of the termite pre-treatment shouldn't be that much.

If you don't do anything, you'll just continue getting pinholes in the liner. And you may also attract even more termites by letting the leaks continue.
