So I was out in the garden doing what I do this time of year and I have pressure treated wood as some planting barriors. As I was realiging them I noticed yes termites activly doing their thing.
My concern is that I know there was some termite damage to my house when bought in 2005 and terminix was the company used to treat it. I do see drill holes and the like in the basement for treatment purposes.
I called them back up and apparently I am no longer covered for service. I wasn't home and my wife talked to the guy that did a 1 hour inspection. The only thing he found was what appears to be some mud tubes in the garage in the corner by the garage door leading into my den. (I have a split level in mount holly NJ)
When I got home I went and took a look at the area and poked the tunnel. It broke apart and was hard. Shouldn't it have been moist if active. Is this from the old treatment?
I see no reason to spend 1200 dolalrs on a spot treat and surrounding treatment plan if thats is an old un cleaned up area.
What is your opinion? Perhaps a call and a visit from your company to check it out may be needed.
