i have a small challenge, because the boards/siding (which, the contractor that did a bit of remodeling for me before i moved in, said he couldn't find more of) hanging around the bottom of the house are pretty poor i have been wondering how i would affix lattice to the base of the house instead of leaving the cement cinder blocks that don't allow enough ventilation.

here, you are suggesting what sounds like a rigid (?) metal mesh. how is this usually fixed to a structure?

bottom line, this hardware cloth is better than cement cinder block or lattice to close the crawl space around my house and i will figure out how to install it.
