I had our house treated (Termidor) for termites back in 2000.
We are now having our basement floor redone. Took out the carpeting and will have the floating concrete slab floor resurfaced and acid stained. I was wondering if I need to have the basement treated again since it's now bare and open. We never had termite problems again but just for preventative measure. How good does Termidor last?

Also, while renovating the basement, we removed sheetrock and discovered extensive termite damage on a couple of wood posts. Would you know of a contractor in the Monmouth County, NJ area who does repair work for termite damaged homes? I really do not want my entire house ripped apart to have the repairs done so I'm looking for someone with this kind of experience. Thank you!
